Around 2014 Joefes met iPhoolish who later introduced him to Sam C. In the same year Joefes did a couple of tracks under Sam C. Joefes joined campus, Pwani University. Late 2015 Joefes started to work on his first mixtape, Metamorphosis, which was then released in 2016 under Sam C's label Republik music. He also released his first music video the same year (Ebibengi). School got better of him and he took a break before releasing another video early 2017 (Igwe). In 2018 Joefes got contacted by Black Market Records with an ideal offer, a contract. He is focused on making his music a household name in the rap industry, iPhoolish feels that hip hop scene has lost touch. His lyrical touch is greatly influenced by his daily experiences and his emotions.
